Recently, NTW Highschool students visited Northern Michigan University to tour the Jacobetti Center and watch the men and women’s basketball games earlier this month. Thank you, NMU President Tessman, for spending so much time with our students!! A great time was had by all that attended!!!
Just a reminder to our NTW parents and guardians - TOMORROW (Friday, 2/16/24) is an EARLY RELEASE DAY for students. School Staff will be participating in afternoon Professional Development. Students will be dismissed and boarding buses to depart school at 11:30am.

**Important Announcement** regarding tomorrow's boys basketball game vs. Stephenson Eagles. This will be a Boys JV ONLY game between the Stephenson and Hannahville. Tip Off is scheduled for 6:00pm at Stephenson High School.

Valentine's Day - Wednesday: Our wonderful kitchen staff will serve Bernie's Famous Sausage Breakfast Sandwiches - while Wednesday afternoon classrooms will see Special Celebrations and Be My Valentine Card exchanges.
Attention NTWPSA Parents - February's PTSA Monthly Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 13th. Dinner will be served at 5pm - meeting to begin at 5:30pm, in the school library.
The School is currently seeking an Assistant Transportation Director/Bus Driver. If you or somebody you know has the proper credentials and would enjoy being a member of a great transportation team at Hannahville School, and have the proper credentials in place - or are able to obtain them - we welcome you!! Please be sure to apply with proper documentation at the Hannahville Community's Human Resources Department on or before Wednesday, February 21st!
Valentine's Day is fast approaching and NTW Student Council is once again holding their annual "Candy Crush Sale". Monday and Tuesday (12th and 13th) Cost is $2.50 - please be sure to see Mr. Houle for orders or details!
3 full time educational aide positions are available at NTW! If you have been looking for the opportunity to work with students inside and outside of the classroom, while earning a great wage with lots of great benefits - please consider applying for work at Nah Tah Wahsh Public School Academy! Applications from interested applicants with proper credentials should be returned to the Hannahville Community Human Resources Department by Tuesday, February 20th.

Students grades 8-12th are invited to join us for Food, Fun, and Dancing on Saturday, February 10th, from 6-9pm in the school cafeteria. Cost to attend is $5 per person at the Youth Services Entrance.
**NTW PSA Kindergarten Screening and Registration Date Announced**
Parents/Guardians - Entry age for Kindergarten enrollment in a Michigan Public School Academy requires children to be 5 years old on or before September 1st, 2024. Children who turn 5 between September 1st and December 1st, 2024, are eligible for Kindergarten for the fall of 2024, by signing an Early Entry Waiver.
We look forward to meeting your child on Friday, April 12th from 8:30-2:30pm. For more information please contact Mrs. Laurie Oslund, NTW Kindergarten Teacher, to gather more details and schedule your child for a free kindergarten screening. Reminder parents - please bring along your child's: Certified Birth Certificate, Tribal Card (if applicable)and Social Security Card, which are required documents to register for school.
Due to excessive wind chills tomorrow, 1/16/2024, school, daycare, head start, FACE, and youth services will be closed for the school day. UPDATE: Parent's Night Basketball Event and games at NTW are still moving forward as scheduled.

Parents and Athletes - Due to expected poor weather conditions this weekend, the Girls and Boys Basketball games vs. the Mackinac Island Lakers have been postponed to February 2nd-3rd.
