Computer Labs

High School Lab

The high school lab is equipped with 15 student computers and scanners. The teacher system is connected to a projector, scanner, VCR/DVD player, and has speakers. This lab is used by students in grades 6-12. It was purchased in June 2007 with funds from a 2% grant provided by the Hannahville Indian Community.

Student systems do not have speakers or headphones. Teachers can request headphones for students when they reserve the lab. Intel microscopes are also available at teachers' request. All computers face the same way so students can easily view presentations and teachers can see all the student screens. Students print to a color laser printer.

Elementary Lab

The elementary lab is used by students in grades K-5. There are 20 student computers equipped with headphones. The teacher system is attached to a projector, scanner, speakers, and a VCR/DVD player. Students print to a color laser printer.

Like the high school lab, all computers face the same way so students can easily view presentations and teachers can see all the student screens. This lab was purchased in August 2008 with funds from a 2% grant provided by the Hannahville Indian Community and other sources.

Classroom Equipment

Every teacher has a computer and printer. Teacher systems in grades 4-8, the culture/language rooms, the art room, all standard high school classrooms and several early elementary classrooms have projectors and VCR/DVD players connected to the teacher systems. Other classrooms can reserve a projection system with a laptop and VCR/DVD player from the tech department.

Classrooms that do not have computer projectors have televisions with VCR/DVD players.

Most classrooms have 2-4 student desktops. The culture/language classroom and the middle school each have a bank of 12 laptops. The high school wing has a cart of laptops that can be reserved by teachers.

Every classroom has a Kodak Easy Share camera for teacher and student use. Additional cameras are available for reservation from the tech department when more are needed for classroom projects.

The 5th grade classroom uses handheld computers with keyboards for language arts and math activities.

All classrooms have cable TV access.
